Misty Lake Mutanda is a magical backdrop for That Gorilla Brand’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection. Located in southwestern Uganda, nestled in the foothills of the Virunga Mountain Range, this tranquil lake is surrounded by steep, leafy hillsides and rocky cliff faces of ancient volcanoes and is abundant with a rich and vibrant ecosystem. As all of That Gorilla Brand’s conservation collaborations with local communities to date have been based in and around this serene destination, it’s a place we hold close to our hearts. It is the name of our latest collection.
The dynamic and diverse locations of each of Leo’s Adventures for a Cause challenges have been an enormous inspiration in the colour palette for this season. From the floating icebergs of Iceland, the desert sands of Jordan, the jagged rock faces of Mount Olympus and the grassy knolls of Nepal to the vast, yawning gorges of the Grand Canyon, the energising colours of this range is a reflection of all the key places in our fundraising efforts so far.
All colour ways come in matching sets, available in coordinating t-shirts, shorts & hoodies. All items are unisex, cut for an oversized fit and embroidered with our iconic gorilla emblem. Our t-shirts are made from 100% organic cotton and pre-washed for softness and colourfastness.
Each piece of our collection is produced in Portugal by the textile specialists RTG, who use the highest quality cotton for optimum comfort and robust wearing and adopt high ethical and moral standards for the working conditions of their staff.
The sales of every product in our store helps to fund the conservation efforts of The Gorilla Organization, and to date we are their biggest commercial donor. For every item sold, we give a portion of profits to The Gorilla Organization to support a variety of their community-led conservation projects. In addition all profits from the Emerging T are donated directly to this amazing cause. Each day is a new horizon to embrace new experiences and challenges and do good with them. Living the life of your dreams is the biggest adventure of all.
